Tuition Assistance
The Archdiocese of Washington works hard to keep Catholic
education as affordable as possible. To assist families, several tuition assistance programs are available through the archdiocese and other private organizations:
Archdiocese of Washington Tuition Assistance Program
(Grades PreK-12)
Available to students applying to or currently enrolled in Catholic schools within the archdiocese (Washington, DC and Calvert, Charles, St. Mary’s, Montgomery and Prince George’s counties in Maryland).
Black Student Fund (Grades PreK-12)
Latino Student Fund (Grades K-12)
Capital Partners for Education (Grades 9-12)
FitzGerald Program (Grades 9-12)
Offers tuition assistance to Catholic or non-Catholic students applying to a Catholic high school in the Archdiocese of Washington or to students currently enrolled in a Catholic high school in the archdiocese.
2011 Horatio Alger Scholarship and Archdiocese of Washington (Grade 12)
The Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans, in cooperation with the Archdiocese of Washington, is providing between 15 and 25 college scholarships of $5,000 each to current Archdiocesan high school seniors who have faced adversity and plan to start college in the Fall of 2011. Each applicant is also eligible for the Horatio Alger Association National Scholarship of $20,000, awarded to two scholars from every state and the District of Columbia.
