Archbishop

“Every dollar you give through the Archbishop’s Appeal reaches programs and charities that nourish God’s people—physically, morally and spiritually.”

How do we give thanks to the Lord for the abundance we receive through Christ? As we make our way through life, we can express our daily gratitude for Christ’s enduring presence and guidance. God so loved us that He sent His beloved Son to show us how to live and to die that we might have salvation. This is our heritage, our faith and our calling. In the Mass we come together in faith in memory of the Lord’s death and Resurrection, his greatest gift to us. One way in which we live our praise of the Lord is by our actions, by sharing our abundance with others.

Each year, the Archbishop’s Appeal offers us the opportunity to reach out to people in our community who are in great need. Brothers and sisters who are without shelter, adequate food, health care and mental health services, those without access to education, and those who are ill, imprisoned and dying depend on your generosity. The needs are enormous.

Every dollar you give through the Archbishop’s Appeal reaches programs and charities that nourish God’s people—physically, morally and spiritually. I urge you to make a generous, sacrificial commitment to the Appeal this year.

Our prayers, our donations and our commitment will bring the love of the risen Christ to our community. What a wonderful way to give thanks to the Lord.
