Attending Mass in Inclement Weather

While it is not the practice of the Archdiocese of Washington to cancel Masses, dangerous travel/road conditions are legitimate excuses that might prevent an individual from fulfilling the Sunday obligation to attend Mass. Those who cannot safely attend Mass in person are encouraged to watch the Sunday TV Mass, which airs at 10:30 a.m. on CW50. Click here for details and the exact channel in your area.
