Living the Year of St. Paul
Pope Benedict XVI has named July 2008-June 2009 the Year of St. Paul, honoring the 2,000th anniversary of of the birth of the early Apostle who traveled widely, evangelizing all in Christ. To celebrate this year, the faithful of the Archdiocese of Washington are invited to go on pilgrimage to any or all of the 17 designated pilgrimage churches, where they can receive a plenary indulgence (see the prayers link below), and to learn more about St. Paul and how to live his message of Christian hope in our lives today.
