The Archdiocese of Washington Birthing and Care Program provides assistance and resources to women in difficult pregnancy situations. Help is available when challenges such as unemployment, lack of health insurance, immigration status, financial difficulties or the fear of telling the baby’s father or loved one about the pregnancy make it difficult for a woman to choose life for her unborn child. The Birthing and Care program provides emotional and spiritual support, crisis pregnancy information, help with prenatal care, labor, and delivery services, information and referral to various programs such as Medicaid, WIC, mother and baby classes, and post abortion information and referrals.

An interdenominational church-based outreach to women facing crisis pregnancies. Participating church communities are linked in a network to provide emotional, spiritual and material support to women and families in need.

Pro-Life Pregnancy Centers
A network of independent pregnancy centers located throughout the region of the Archdiocese which provide pregnancy testing, pro-life counseling and emotional, material and spiritual support to mothers facing crisis pregnancies.
