Catholic Charities
Catholic Charities provides a wide range of direct services for those in need in the Archdiocese of Washington, including physical and mental health care, legal care, immigration, employment services, counseling, shelter, education, adoption, foster care and services for the developmentally disabled. Within the Catholic Charities umbrella are four partners:
- Anchor Mental Health
- Catholic Charities
- Kennedy Institute
- Spanish Catholic Center/Centro Catolico Hispano
Other Archdiocesan Service Organizations:
St. Ann’s Infant and Maternity Home provides comprehensive residential services for infants and young children and for young, single, pregnant and parenting women, as well as an affordable daycare.
Victory Housing, Inc. establishes and operates housing for senior citizens and families. Assisted living residences provide housing and 24-hour support for frail seniors, with full-time staff.
Victory Youth Centers, Inc. builds and manages multi-use, multipurpose recreational facilities for underserved youth in Maryland and Washington, DC through public-private partnerships.

The InterFaith Conference of Metropolitan Washington produces an annual directory of emergency food and shelters, both Catholic and non-Catholic, in the District of Columbia and surrounding region.
