God loves you

Through the sacrament of Baptism, all are called by God to participate

in the mission of the Church and to image in their own person

God’s love for all people. This call to holiness and service

is lived out as a single, married, consecrated, or ordained person.

—Adapted from National Religious Vocation Conference

Priest Vocations

Priest Vocayions

The priesthood is a gift for the Church that comes from Christ himself. As baptized Christians, we are all called to holiness, but some are called to serve the Church as priestas. Ask if God might be calling you to manifest your love for Christ by a commitment to him as a priest of his Church.

Permanent Deacons

Permanent Deacons

Permanent deacons, who are ordained clergy in the Church, are called to a ministry of service. In particular, they are called to serve those in need, such as persons who are hungry, homeless, sick, in prison or immigrants.

Consecrated Life

Consecrared Life

Rooted in the example and teaching of Christ, consecrated life is a gift of God to the Church through the Holy Spirit. By profession of the evangelical counsels, the characteristic features of the chaste, poor and obedient Jesus are made constantly visible, and the eyes of the faithful are directed toward the mystery of the Kingdom of God already at work in history, even as it awaits its full realization in heaven.
-Pope John Paul II, Adapted from Vita Consecrata

Discernment

Discernment

Discernment is the process by which we grow in perceiving God’s will in our life. It cannot be isolated from other aspects of our life but must be integrated into our prayer, our relationships with God, self, others and the circumstances of our daily lives. Discernment enables us to distinguish between inner movements that come from God and those that do not. It is often good to have a spiritual director who can assist us in the discernment process.

Marriage

Marriage

God has a plan for every person’s life. Some are called to the priesthood and consecrated life and many others to the vocation of marriage. In the sacrament of marriage, God unites a man and a woman in a permanent, faithful and loving bond that reflects God’s love to the world.
